something about summer camp

There is always some thing special about Summer Camp. Something about the community of four days in tents bonds you with the people around you. Something about praise, worship and teaching in a stuffy little room makes you remember the experience for life. Something about a group of young people completely in love with Jesus changes lives.
Every year we look forward to camp and ever year God shows up. The experience is always impossible to explain, it's just one of those things about summer camp.

I couldn't be more excited about 2012. Doing life with awesome friends, in an awesome ministry, seeking an awesome God with all our hearts.

ready to jump

2012 has been full on and we are only 18 days in. I've already had adventures been challenged and cried. This year is going to be something special. So to start it off 18 things that have happened so far in no particular order.

1. Got tickets to see Matt Corby
2. Prayed.
3. I made a chocolate pudding in the dark.
4. Went to the beach.
5. Been sun burnt.
6. Slept in a tent.
7. Decided to only have good days.
8. Watered someone else's cucumber. Literally.
9. Summer Camp started
10. I watched a movie outside.
11. I tried to convince my mum I was giving up any plans I had, so I could be a Victoria Secrets model.
12. Applied for jobs.
13. Mitch left.
14. I got a little tan.
15. I read 3 books.
16. I forgot an important lesson, but only for a second.
17. Danced with sparklers.
18. Heard from God.

I'm so excited for what's next. It doesn't matter if I end up flying or falling with style, I'm ready to jump. Come at me 2012.
